How much do you charge?

The price of the translation depends on the assignment. Since there are multiple issues in play, from the length of the text to the nature of the terminology, it's best if you send me a representative excerpt of your text by e-mail. Please include the number of words or characters in the entire text. I will then send you back an offer promptly.

In what format should I deliver the text to be translated?

If possible, send your texts via e-mail as Microsoft Word or Open Office documents. Other common text formats are also fine. If you use other formats, it would be best to ask in advance. We will find a way to make it work.

How soon can I expect to receive my translations?

To receive a concrete delivery date for your translation, simply send me the document or an excerpt and note the number of lines or pages. I will estimate the time it will take me to complete my work and create a deadline you can rely on.

What CAT tools do you work with?

The CAT tool I work with most is Wordfast. The Wordfast software is compatible with Trados, which allows for seamless collaboration with translation agencies. What's more, the use of an integrated, powerful CAT tool guarantees consistency in translation. This is particularly important for medical translations.
